PALAZZO MOTOR LODGE, Nelson – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had comfortable beds, but being located on the ground level made them dingy and dark with no outlook, sun, or privacy from neighboring rooms. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to assist and provide recommendations. The location was convenient for exploring Nelson's main business area and attractions, although lacking safety rails in certain areas. The dining experience was satisfying, especially for self-catering breakfasts, and the facilities were sufficient for a pleasant stay.

The motel offers amazing cleanliness and super comfy rooms, with extremely helpful and welcoming staff. The location is ideal for exploring Nelson, being within a short walking distance to the town center. The dining options provided are sufficient and generous, perfect for a convenient stay.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were so comfortable and nicely presented, more than I could ask for. They were very clean, had everything I needed, and the location was perfect with entrances at the rear. The quality of the whole unit was top-notch. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to provide recommendations and services, like holding our bags until we returned from hiking. They were lovely, easy to engage with, and so helpful with local knowledge. The location was a short walk to eating places, great for wandering around the city in minutes. The dining experience was sufficient for two days, very generous, and fresh, especially at the local icon Lambrettas. However, an Italian grilled meat option we tried was not ideal. The hotel's facilities were excellent.
